The worst experience ever. They brought me a pasta with bitter zucchini (bitter zucchini is not advised to consume because it consists toxins that can lead to some real stomach issues; you can read about it here - https://www.foodsafety.asn.au/zucchini-courgette/ ). When I pointed out that my pasta has very bitter flavour of zucchini, I said that I would not want them to include this dish (and only this dish because other things were pretty nice) into our bill. They came up with proposition of “another pasta with tomato paste”, I refused which was my “mistake as a consumer” as they claimed later… the thing is while proposing another pasta, they never clarified that they were not going to take the spoiled zucchini pasta out of the bill, what they actually wanted to do is to (quotation) “take out all the bitter zucchini slices out of the pasta and mix the same pasta with tomato paste”. The proposal of mixing already bitterly flavoured pasta with tomato paste does not sound like a 20euro worth deal. Moreover, their male representatives were extremely rude, especially their chef… we are never going to come back and do not consider this place as a place that appreciates their consumers. Read moreFrom start to finish absolutely amazing✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ the service was first class - extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, even when we spoke no Dutch. We visited on a Saturday night without a reservation but managed to find a table although it filled up quite soon around 19:30. The free bread to start was delicious paired with excellent quality olive oil and balsamico. The Burrata filled pasta and the lamb thyme pasta Main Course were delicious and very unique. The tiramisu and panna cotta also. To finish all off, even the espresso was delicious, so much so that I had to have a second. To note the pasta portions are more like the authentic Italian Primo course size but as we had eaten a large lunch it was plenty for us with dessert. However I would love to come back for a full meal as all the starters and the meat main courses looked delicious on the other tables. A real treat! 100% recommend. Thank you to the chef...
Read moreVery nice, kind of sophisticated place. As I've looked around during the dinner time this is a restaurant mostly for the middle-aged and elder generation. The quality of food, the prices, the elegant atmosphere tends to suggest this too. However I felt welcomed here aswell. Staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. The food was beautifully presented from start to finish. We got home made bread with olive oil as appetizer. Then I had the daily soup: potato-leek soup with shrimps, which was pretty tasty. After that I've chosen the lamb chops for the main course. It was the first time I tried this, and I am really satisfied with it, the tenderness of the meat is just perfect. For dessert we had the panna cotta with mango jelly on top (don't know the proper name of the sauce). The light and sweet dessert was a great choice to finish this great dinner. Thank you...
