The chicken filet was well cooked and combined well with the pepersauce. The salmon was juicy. Dessert was delicious. Watch out: the brownie is small but mighty.

RUDE! So rude my mom and I were gobsmacked. My mom wanted to order tea, the waitress asked: "What tea" So my mom replies: "Which ones do you serve?" to which the waitress sighed and replied in a very unfriendly manner: "I am not going to list them all for you!" It wasn't very busy at that time so the response really caught us off-guard. My mom tried to save the situation and replied with "Okay, well if maybe you have Earl Grey or Darjeeling" "I am NOT going to serve you if you don't speak normal!" Apparently she didn't know any kinds of tea (then she shouldn't have asked without showing the selection available i.m.o.) and was rude, condescending and mean through the whole thing. This was some time ago, but the experience was so horrible that it stuck with us....

Vandaag hier op het terras gezeten voor een kopje koffie en een kleine lunch. Om positief te beginnen: het eten is prima, niks te klagen. Ook het personeel is netjes en vriendelijk. Maar dan is er toch die grote ergernis: je zit aan een tafeltje en aan alle omliggende tafels zitten mensen vrolijk te roken. Zeer ergerlijk en eigenlijk gewoon asociaal. Je ruikt continu de rook en die waait ook van alle kanten in je gezicht. Bijzonder onsmakelijk. Moeten wij dan ergens anders gaan zitten als wij daar last van hebben? Ik vind van niet. Wij doen immers niets waar andere mensen last van kunnen hebben. Dus is de vraag: waarom wordt het roken nog steeds gewoon toegestaan op een terras? Waarom mogen mensen ándere mensen hun moment van rust en eten verpesten? En vooral: waarom maken ze op zijn minst niet een terras waar rokers gescheiden zitten zodat mensen er geen last van hebben? Het is 2024, dit kan heden ten dage echt niet meer. Het is om je dood te schamen. Hou aub eens rekening met mensen die NIET roken en geen zin hebben in die...
