Stayed here for one night as we were visiting friends after a mini break in Amsterdam.|The rooms are located above a bar and check in is with bar staff. Our children had the adjacent room which was accessed by an internal door.|The rooms are very modern. Tastefully decorated and contemporary. Bed is a cabin style which was ultra comfortable. Could have done with another pillow. Tea and coffee making facilities available. |If you book a room make sure you are comfortable with your partner as the shower is located in the middle of the room and the toilet too so no privacy whatsoever. There was a mirror opposite the shower so if you are vain it's ideal. |Breakfast was €5 each and consisted of yogurt and honey, bread, ham, cheese, ham and a banana. The bread was lovely and fresh.|For saying it was above a bar we slept soundly and couldn't hear any noise from the bar however we were on the second floor at the back. |The only thing I didn't like was that anyone can access the rooms from the stairwell. Not a fan of the bed in toilet concept. Hotel is in between two churches which ring their bells all night (if you are used to that, no problem). The price of the breakfast is not reflected in its quality. Don't bother sending requests as they will be ignored and the personnel rude upon your arrival. They cannot be bothered to change you from your room that you specifically asked not to be placed in as it would involve 1 minute of work on their side and they are too precious for that.
