Biercafé De BarBier — Restaurant in Hilversum

Barbier in Hilversum is an amazing Cafe.

The employees almost always wear blazers which makes this Café/bar almost hipster. I have to say that everyone above 18 y/o is welcome.

The place itself is super nice and trendy. There are couches, chairs, tables, a nice bar and a pretty good pool table. They offer a variety of boardgames as well which is amazing. The only downside is that the buidling doesn't have the best structure which sometimes causes annoyance when it's busy, but I'll take that for what it is.

The beers are awesome and there is a lot of variety. They are quite expensive though which is sometimes a bit annoying. They do not sell any food though so maybe that could be an improvement.

If you find yourself in Hilversum close to central station do yourself a favor and stop in here. We had the best bar tender I've had in The Netherlands thus far. He had great recommendations and very attentive for Netherlands standards. Beer selection is extensive and has many beers that are very difficult to find. The meat and cheese tray was unexpected.
