We ordered drinks, they serve without any nuts at side, and they charge at the end for the nuts which we just asked to have!!! Typical Dutch hospitality.

We had a lovely time at Drink & Eetlokaal Proefverlof! The location is fantastic—right by the canal, making it a perfect spot to relax and watch as people stop by on their private boats. It’s definitely best to visit on a nice day to really enjoy the atmosphere and outdoor seating.

The staff was friendly and enthusiastic, though they seemed to be young and still gaining experience. Service was pleasant, but you may notice they’re still learning.

It is nice. Especially the courses before and after the main course. I must say the entrecote did not tasted great. Was also to raw instead of rare. The Duck meat was not special. I made this dish at home and it had more flavour in it. But that is my opinion. We had one waiter that was top notch on serving us and another waitress that did not care about the service.
