Pizzeria Sardegna 🍕 — Restaurant in Leeuwarden

Charges extra for things they don't put on pizzas. I wanted a pizza with 1 thing switched for another, I even made sure that the pricing for the substitute was the same as the substituted ingredient. Surely taking off one ingredient and replacing it with a same-priced ingredient wouldn't result in 2 charges. Or so I thought..

When confronted about why they didn't take it off the price by saying "I think I got charged for ingredient last time, must've been a mistake right?" the little guy with black hair said "no it's not and we'll never do that!" i.e. he'll always charge extra for things that aren't on the pizza.

I don't support businesses that charges people for things that aren't on the pizza. A shame that this guy's ego is ruining the place, he's not even the boss but he sure...

I arrived a little later than my friends and they had just gotten their drinks. Almost instantly I was approached by a waiter to ask what I wanted and within a minute I had my drink as well. The food was also quickly delivered and the quality was amazing. One of my friends' pizza was a little burned on the crust, but they offered to make a new one if wished for. On top of that, the waiter was a fun guy that out just the right amount of humour in his interactions. Definitely...

Twee sterren omdat er voldoende keuze is in vegetarische pizza's. Bij een aantal pasta's is aangegeven dat vegetarisch mogelijk is. Dat betekent bij dit restaurant niet dat het vlees wordt vervangen door iets vegetarisch. Integendeel; als je iets vervangends wil, komt dat bovenop de prijs. Wat mij betreft kunnen ze het dan beter helemaal niet aangeven op de kaart. Dit betekende: een pasta van €10 waarbij de spekjes en kaas zijn weggelaten en ik extra moest betalen voor de rucola. Jammer, want de sfeer was goed, vriendelijke bediening en het smaakte ook prima.

Verder hadden niet gereserveerd, maar er was volgens de medewerker nog één tafel vrij. We hadden wel behoefte aan een rustige plek, maar omdat het volgeboekt was, gingen we hiermee akkoord. Later zagen we dat de helft van het restaurant nog leeg was. Als we dat hadden geweten, hadden we liever een rustiger plekje gehad.

Al met al: prima gegeten, maar omdat we niet benadeeld willen worden omdat we iets vegetarisch willen i.p.v. vlees (wat volgens de kaart zou kunnen), denk ik niet dat we hier nog...
