Romagna 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in Nijmegen

an okay-ish place, but probably better than other italian restaurants in Nijmegen. Don't know much about pizza (regular, to my taste), but when I was living in Nijmegen I used to eat there from time to time. Romanga may be ok in Nijmegen, but compared to Germany (where I live now) it is just poor. Lasagna, for instance, has nearly no taste. Just go to Berlin and try one there in a random italian eatery. You won't want to eat it in Nijmegen again. Also, the prices in Romagna are high, and the service is quite slow and very friendly, but it's like that everywhere in the Netherlands, so can't really blame them. Looks like the quality dropped a lot (or we were extremely unlucky). Lasagna on the pictures we saw in reviews looked amazing, ours was grey, still sizzling hot (=too hot too eat), barely any cheese, but had a lot of noodle layers with most of the meat outside. Op zich best een aardige keuken. Maar waarom vraag je 6 euro voor (twee theelepeltjes) sambuca, terwijl die voor 5 euro op de kaart staat? Moet dat zo? Dat was twee weken geleden. Vooruit, het zal een misverstand zijn geweest. Afgelopen week opnieuw daar gegeten. Twee karafjes wijn erbij gevraagd en een karafje kraanwater. En volgens het menu is kraanwater gratis bij de wijn. Toch werd nu weer 6 euro (!) extra aangeslagen voor dat 'gratis' karafje kraanwater. Niks gratis, 6 euro! Viel niet over te praten. Of ja, toch wel, hou je vast: volgens de bediening is "kraanwater alleen gratis per glas. Niet per karaf". Ja dan houdt mijn begrip op. En ik weet best, het zijn voor de horeca moeilijke tijden. Maar om op die manier aan jouw extra omzet te komen.... Een mailtje daarover met de vraag hoe ze daar zelf over denken blijft onbeantwoord. Bij Romagna ben je dus overduidelijk geen gast, maar meer iemand met een portemonnee. Ik ben er nu wel klaar mee. Er zijn gelukkig meer Italianen in de binnenstad...
