Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are really nice, and the staff were super welcoming. They offer English menus too—didn’t expect that from such a local spot.

As for the poffertjes, I was a bit disappointed. They tasted slightly burnt, even though they were undercooked inside. They were also quite greasy—there was a noticeable pool of oil/butter at the bottom of the plate. Not the fluffy, light poffertjes I was hoping for from a local place.

I’m still giving this place four stars because I really liked the vibe and the staff, and I’d love to come back. Hopefully, the poffertjes will be...

Super friendly staff, super tasty poffertjes and pancakes and a lot of menu options! A hidden gem where I will definitely bring my foreign friends in the future. Parking on the spot, nice atmosphere. Do check out the photos for food impressions and menu! I couldn't find the menu online so I was pleasantly surprised to find many food options!

Note: only open from May - October, the other half of the year they have oliebollen at another location (Purmerend and/or Uithoorn) so I am definitely going to try those as well when it is...

Nice ambiance. Decent pancakes and poffertjes... Very good local beers! Very kid-friendly. Service started a bit akward...but ended okay. But by god, avoid the waffles. These were horrible. Cold, dry, like eating sandpaper. Should definitely not be on the menu. The explanation was that they do not bake them fresh, but once a week.
