Oesters & Bubbels — Restaurant in Reimerswaal

In our way to Amsterdam, we made a stop in Yerseke, and I’m so glad we did! My sister-in-law recommended this restaurant, and it truly did not disappoint. If you’re an oyster lover like me, this is the place to go. I tried the premium oysters, and they were absolutely exceptional—unique and unforgettable.

For those who aren’t into oysters, like my wife and son, there are plenty of other delicious options. They ordered the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. The menu has something for everyone, making it an ideal spot for a family meal.

Lovely place to eat some fresh oesters from Yerseke! The stuff was friendly and very attentive. The oesters were fresh. We went for a platter to try different styles. My favorite one was oysters of the chef. They are served as freshly open oysters with a cucumber and an airy mousse of yuzu juice. Supper refreshing and bell combined flavors. The mussels were also very fresh and delicious in a wine sauce. Kibbeling (or Fish and Chips on a menu) was probably one of the best kibbeling I ate so far. Amazingly fresh and tasty mussels and oysters in the town of Yerseke. It was interesting being able to look out the window and see the wells where Dutch fishermen used to cultivate oysters, some in action while some remain dormant. Having tried making my own version of steamed mussels using various other kinds of mussels, I have to give it this place for making the best ones...
