Meijer's Lunchroom — Restaurant in Rijswijk

A lovely lunchroom with sandwiches priced around the 7.00 euro and higher.

The bread is slightly toasted and richly topped. I had a roast beef sandwich with mayo, ketchup, salad, pinenuts, cuecumber, tomato and egg. My partner had steak tartar with hot sauce, eggs, gherkins and fresh unions.

We both had a big latte with a real milk froth top that held a spoon very well. It wasn't overly sweet and a slight hint...

The food was good, but the service left me speechless! I waited for nearly an hour for a burger. During this time, the waiter kept telling me they had reminded the kitchen, but when I went to ask myself out of frustration, I found out they might have forgotten to make it!...

Jeetje... sinds hele lange tijd weer eens een broodje gegeten. Dit was teleurstellend. Geen muziekje aan binnen. Door de grijze kleur voelde het heel kil aan en dus ongezellig. Mijn luxe bruine stokbrood was belegd met huisgemaakte maar flauwe en te ver doorgebakken rosbief. Het lijkt alsof de liefde voor de zaak een beetje...
