Balkan atmosphere but not the food... The owner and the cooks were constantly yelling and swearing in Serbian, to each other and on the phone. We were the only guests in the restaurant and felt like we werent really welcome because our dining wasnt respected. We ordered sarma, a dish we love homemade, but it was like a distant memory from that. The cabbage wasnt pickled for enough time, it was tough and not really sour. There was almost no sauce and it was too oily. Sarma came served with baked potatoes which needed 20-30 more minutes baking to be enjoyable. Read moreUpdated: It's so refreshing that after sommany years, this place keeps being authentic and true to itself. I was looking at the owner today, putting so much care in each thing he was cooking: I guess that's the secret to excellency. Excellent place for authentic Serbian cuisine. It's fairly easy to reach with the metro. We sat outside, and had very good experience. The food is quality wise comparable to the one you can find in some fine restaurant in Belgrade.
Update: in the last few years we went back many times, and brought many friends with us. This place never disappoints. We even ordered a pig for our wedding reception....

It took a bit long for the food to come even though the restaurant was not full, perhaps the owners shall work on it, other than this, everything was perfect.
