Great historical spot in Rotterdam. My grandparents and their kids set foot on Dutch soil in this area of Rotterdam's port in 1951. Pictures of all those ships that departed to and arrived from far away places are on the walls inside the pub. It was a warm day when we visited this place, so we only went inside to check out the pics. Then we looked for a table outside to enjoy our food and drinks. We ordered the spareribs from their daily specials menu. The meals came rather swiftly and were of good sizing. Sorry, no pics of the spareribs, too hungry 😄😄 The ribs were prepared well, with the meat falling off the bone as it should. We chatted with the bartender who served us the best Dutch Balls o- meat ever. Unfortunately we only had our credit cards to pay the tab and they only take cash. So we had walk to the nearest ATM, which is quite far. When we returned it was after 2:00 am. However the bartender remained open and we all chatted until later that night.
