Hotel Baan — Hotel in Rotterdam

Visited hotel for two days with my wife. Booked thru booking.com. Price really high for this place. Photos at Booking.com are really great, but actually hotel is rubbish. Thin walls, you can even hear your neighbour coughting. Cold rooms. Everything really old and damaged. Bathroom stinks so bad. Towels dirty. Carpet dirty. Honestly, everything is very dirty. Even bad was broken in middle and so dirty. We stayed there just because that was last money, we had no other options to stay. I can rate this hotel only 1 star with big minus. Please dont book this hotel. Worst place to stay in Rotterdam. Dont save little money and take better hotel than this one or stay somewhere under bridge what is better than this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is guys who was somewhere outside bit not at reception. We called to hotels number and he came and opened the door of hotel to us. Than he registered us at hotel. He was really nice guy but I think he was owner of the hotel and thats why he was so nice. Even booking com didnt gave me any chance to rate this hotel. At booking com they have 7+ rating what is really lies. Can rate it only 3/10 if we compare it with some airport or any train station or just staing outside...

Had booked 2 nights at this hotel on booking.com. We paid almost $380 Canadian for 2 nights. When we arrived the owner was very friendly, However when we went up to our room we found it dirty and not looked after. Beds were incredibly old and worn out sagging even without sitting on them. Mattress had all sorts of filthy stains on them, which we found when doing our bed big check. We were literally afraid to sleep there it was that bad. We called booking.com who requested photos and promptly refunded all our monies paid! Yay, Booking.com. We recommend you DO NOT stay here, it should be a $50 a night place and even then it is not very nice. Sorry to the friendly owners but please clean your hotel and repair things. This app requires me to give at least one star so I guess one star for...

The worst hotel I've ever been to so far. Not an emotional statement, but a fact. It has to be a scam - otherwise, the owners are in complete delusion as for the state in which the facility is. We booked 2 nights, but left in less than an hour after seeing the state of the room, the bedding and the mattresses - insanitary, repulsive, neglected. The website through which we booked attempted a refund - the hotel refused, and we only received 58€ back out of 165 spent from the website itself. The responses to negative reviews on that website are absolutely unprofessional, arrogant and rude. No idea how this business is still afloat, but my recommendation is to stay away from the hotel...
