Sound Kitchen Rotterdam - Espressobar — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I went there today for the first time after stumbling across it while searching for a new coffee spot on Google maps, and I have to say, in one word: great ! Starting with the cafè area, it's a truly nice spot, well furnished and with space to sit and relax~ but the highlight here was the coffee and the barista ! The coffee is frankly the best I've had untill now here in the Netherlands- by far; and the barista was very nice and friendly, even telling me to go off in the headphone section and not to worry about it because he would bring me the coffee there. Now, for the other great thing about this place: the headphones and hifi part ! Again the space is really nice, warm, welcoming and well organized and lit. There's an incredible amount of different high-end headphones and gear that you are free to try and the shopkeeper was extremely nice about it, encouraging me to feel free to hear and play with pretty much anything I wanted, without ever making me feel like I have any obligation at all to buy anything ( tho I've already put in a reservation for a pair of headphones, but they were just that good of a value and I HAD to ). Got caught in a huge rainstorm and the staff was nice enough to let me hide from the weather. Both the barista and the audio engineer at the store were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to talk to. The coffee was delicious and even though i'm not an audio expert i could tell the equipment is of the best quality. Would recommend to anyone who values good service and a genuine human connection.
