Nothing referenced true Michelin Star quality besides the bill.
I know this part doesn't have a Michelin star itself, but there is a lot of references to it being a "spin-off" from a Michelin Star restaurant, so we had high expectations.
Service was quite slow, it took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks, they even asked 3 times if we wanted something to drink and when we told them it was ordered a while ago the answer was: Oh probably you'll get it soon then. Even mocktails were almost 20 bucks a piece, the guy tried to make something out of it, but in retrospect a Sprite would've been better vs the quality and price.
The staff, although quite friendly didn't seem to have specific designations or areas and it just seemed a chaotic mess.
Ordering your food had to be done via scanning a QR code, on a menu with really poor information. Sure, you could ask the staff, if you would be able to get hold of them.
The ordered food took 45 minutes, and the taste on the Wagyu and the Fillet Mignon were quite bland, the sauce with the Fillet Mignon was pretty good compared to the Wagyu but absolutely not worth the price and we have had much, much better for way less. Also the amount of meat seemed a bit light side, I've had nights where I ordered 200-ish grams of steak and felt quite satisfied, that wasn't the case here.
The ribs were quite good compared with the beef, but the amount of sauce and herbs on top was pretty overpowering, so scraped some off to find balance.
The desert was again not worth the price/quality, and the waiter was being a bit weird when he brought out the ordered ice-cream and was putting it on the table mockingly "Nou, hier is je ijsje hoor...". I had to bite my lip and not ask for some disco-dip if we're talking like that to people, but at this point we were fed up with the experience and just wanted to have the bill and get out of there.
The true hero of the evening was the starter, the bread. And I'm sure if that seems to be one of the best things of the night, the restaurant might have a bit of a problem.
I do think that if you go there, skip the beef and go for ribs and satay you might enjoy it a bit better, but almost 300 euros for this experience (of which 80 for 2 cocktails and 2 mocktails) just left a bad taste.
So, we won't be coming back as the experience, for us, was one not worth repeating for this price-point and it was a very expensive...

We tried the lunch menu. I got the pork okonomiyaki. We walked inside restaurant at around 12:40. It wasn’t busy. I got served with the drinks very shortly, 12:48 to be exact. However, we waited for the server to get our order. And we waited a bit more. Some people who came later than us already got their orders taken. But we waited a bit more. The table beside us got a second glass of drink. The other table got more wine. And we waited. After more than 30 minutes I raised my hand to get her attention to finally ask if we can order. By this time, we were really hungry already. New guests sat beside the table beside us. For some reason, they got served their order already. The server came by our table twice to clarify what was it that we ordered. We wanted to cancel the order since it was just taking too long, she kept saying that it’s coming…. That they’re just adding the final touches. At exactly 13:31, I got served the okonomiyaki. At best it was meh. It tastes more like a fritata. Was this street food? Nope. First of all, street food is fast, and just tastes good without trying to look fancy. Oh, and it is definitely value for money. The complete opposite of our food and our experience. To top it off, when the award winning chef casually asks if we like it, and we said in a low key way that it was okay and that we waited almost an hour for this. He got defensive and almost rude. And he said he can prove on the cctv camera that we are lying and that we weren’t there for an hour. Crazy. Why would we even lie about this… On our way out, when I showed him the time stamp from my phone/post, he got livid and wouldn’t even let us say our piece. We are paying customers chef…. Not your staff. And even then still… Respect. Common courtesy please. Nevertheless we behaved in a very decent manner despite our experience. We were already a couple of meters away from the restaurant and he even had to run outside to add some more expletives to what he had already said. Basically just repeating himself. That if we wanted fast, we should have gone to McDonald’s. We weren’t really that demanding. I mean we waited patiently. He can also see that in that cctv while he’s at it. Bottom line. Not worth it. Not worth coming back to. There are so many other better restaurants to spend our money on. If the chef was having a bad day, they shouldn’t take it out on...

Our recent visit to FG Food Labs was nothing short of a disaster. For a place boasting a Michelin star, we were expecting an unforgettable culinary experience, but unfortunately, what we got was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
First and foremost, finding a piece of hair in one of the dishes is always a deal-breaker, but the way the situation was handled took it from bad to worse. When we politely brought it to the staff’s attention, we were shocked when the chef Francois arrived at our table, visibly annoyed, and accused us of planting the hair ourselves. Not only was this completely unfounded, but it was also deeply insulting. The sheer arrogance and lack of professionalism were beyond belief, and it left us feeling humiliated.
On top of that, none of the staff seemed to follow basic hygiene standards — no one was wearing hairnets, yet somehow, we were made to feel like the problem.
The food itself was tasteless and uninspired. For a bill that exceeded 1000€ for four people, we expected bold flavors, creativity, and quality, but every dish we tasted was bland and underwhelming. It lacked the finesse and complexity one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant, let alone one that charges such exorbitant prices.
In summary, this restaurant may have a Michelin star, but it certainly doesn’t deserve it. Between the terrible service, unappetizing food, and disgraceful handling of a hygiene issue, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re looking to spend your money on exceptional food, look elsewhere — this place is a complete waste of...
