Very disappointed by this place.

After 40 minutes of waiting in the queue to be seated, we finally had our table. We were 3 in total and another friend was joining us later. When our friend arrived, she was refused to enter although we already had a table. She was asked to make the queue like everyone else although it was 7pm (closing time 8pm).

When she finally made it to our table and ordered the beer, the waitress asked for ID. Unluckily, she didn’t have her ID with her and was refused any alcoholic beverages. I understand that a bar has the right to ask for ID and that it was our friend’s fault that she didn’t have it. What I don’t understand, it’s why did they ask for her ID only, while we were seating there with our second round of pints and no one asked for our IDs previously. It felt very unfair and discriminatory.

Their staff is clearly unprofessional and unfriendly towards internationals. I feel very sorry because I really liked this...

Really nice and extraordinary place for a beer and perhaps something small to munch in. Doesn't matter if you just wanna unwind after busy day at work or if you going for your last beers with friends, before you hop on to the train and head towards Amsterdam Schiphol and fly back to wherewer. What I really like is the atmosphere. It's open space, outside so you got the fresh air, little bit of rain if you want to, but still, they have rly nice system of heaters and roofs, so even in ugly autumn or winter day you'll have amazing time there! Strongly recommend for (not only) beer lovers. Doesn't rly matter if you are hipster or wearing a suit on your way from business meeting (; PS: oh and I almost forgot to mention. They have selection of foreign beers as well. Particularly from British islands. Which are quite heavy and I'd appreciate some from Czech Republic, Austria and Germany which are lighter in taste, but it's a small thing. The palce...

I liked the location quite a lot. We, me and two friends, went here for a drink in the afternoon. The crowd was mostly younger people and it seemed to be the optimal location for a drink on a sunny day. I am not sure if there is an indoor area but based on my limited knowledge I would not recommend going here when the weather is bad as it seems to be terrace and outdoors centered. We had beers and cheese nachos. The drinks and food were satisfying and I can't recall it being particularly expensive so I would assess the prices as being appropriate. The waiters were friendly and actually came to our table multiple times i.e. many more times than the number of times we actually wanted to order. I liked that and I guess it would make sense for more bars/restaurants etc. to do that because "better safe than...

Okay, this place was fascinating. Being over 60, I was way too old for this venue - its definitely for the younger crowd. That said, felt perfectly at ease here. An abundance of restaurants/fast food places, outdoor kiosks, beer tapes, and a DJ turning electronica. Grabbed a bit of food and several beers from a few places. There are steps that have a Sacre Vibe where the patrons gathered as the sun went down. Very chill. Very cool. It was always our plan to end up here, and although the few blocks between our hotel and this were the seediest part of town we saw, the biergarten itself was excellent.
