Heerlijk Burgers & Bites — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I’ve eaten here 3 times now — I had the Portobello Burger 2 times (takeout) and the Truffle Burger 1 time (delivery).

Their Portobello Burger is the best vegetarian burger I’ve had of its kind 💯 the owner uses real Porotobellos and veggies to create the perfect blend of flavors, it’s 💯 definitely worth trying.

The one time I tried the Truffle Burger (after starting to eat meat again) I didn’t read the ingredients — I got it delivered and unfortunately it arrived cold, it wasn’t wrapped in this silver foil which I’ve had my takeout Portobello Burger wrapped in before — (I feel that makes a difference to keep the burger warm). I wasn’t expecting the ginger or even bacon in the burger so that was on me to not read the ingredients, the taste wasn’t for me. Although my best friend LOVES the Truffle Burger flavor and has had it 2 times (so give it a go if you have a feel for the ingredients 🙏)

I’ve also tried the normal fries and sweet potato fries and I must say the sweet potato fries are also 💯

In summary I would highly recommend trying the Portobello Burger and Sweet Potato fries at least once in your life! You won’t regret it. The portions are fairly big and service from chef/owner...

I really enjoyed this place. It was a sunny day and the terras they have gets a good amount of sunshine. Started off with chorizo croquettes which were honestly delicious! Would definitely order again and even come back just for these. They also have really nice fusion ice teas they make themselves - really tasty and refreshing. I had a beef burger - the flavors were good I just made the mistake of not specifying I want it cooked well done. For me the burger was too raw - had it been well done I would have finished it. My husband had the chicken burger which he loved! Fries were great. I'd really recommend this place. Our server was super friendly, made us feel welcome and also gave us a lot of information about the ingredients and how they make their dishes...

I just finished eating the burger of the month (August) and I can confidently say, this is own of the most juiciest, flavorful, cheesy, freshly made burger I've tried in my life!

The sous-vide patty is cooked as it should: MEDIUM and to perfection 👌
