Restaurant Azzurro — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I had high hopes for this restaurant, I wanted some good pasta but instead I received a small portion of ravioli that didn't have an expected taste. The prices are sky rocket for what they serve. We also ordered a pizza, and you would expect a good pizza, an Italian restaurant with the flag hanging on the entrance and inside the restaurant, but unfortunately it was disappointing, Dough too thin, and no taste. The interior is of poor quality with cables and pipes all exposed. Toilets are poor quality. There was a hair on my pizza, and there were lots of flies buzzing around. Hygiene standards need improving! All plants are fake, despite The Netherlands being a world famous flower producer. Staff were friendly, but the owners have no idea what a decent restaurant should look...

A good range of food at a reasonable price. Smaller portions available which was ideal for us as a light meal before boarding the overnight ferry. Waitress service was excellent, she was kind & patient. WiFi worked well. Very convenient location for Stena line, easy...
