Michiel and I had some takeaway afobaka the other day, at first €13.50 each sounded a bit expensive for some sweet n sour chicken and a bit of bami.. We walked back home and the sauce was dripping from the bag and I can recall Michiel saying "look it's dripping out". It was raining a bit so I thought maybe it's rain but Michiel was right, it was the sauce. But then... oooooh then we opened the boxes and it was spectacular, just marvelous!!! The fried rice is absolutely authentic! I lived in Beijing for 14 years, and I can’t even remember having such delicious fried rice before! I have been visiting this place ever since I was attenting high school around the corner back in 2001. Jimmy, the owner is a gentle man who knows his customers well. His food is always spot on and hits the mark everytime. I really love his homemade sambal. Whenever we are back in Rotterdam we think about visiting for either dinner, or lunch.
