I came to this restaurant to place to go order and was told by a female server to go see Kevin I went to go see Kevin and Kevin told me that a male server standing next to him could help me. You're probably wondering what I was wondering why can somebody just take my damn order for some food that I wanted to eat? I had already been standing there for several minutes with the menu in my hand and no one approach me to ask me if they could take my order. The male looked reluctantly at Kevin and then begrudgingly took my order. If this server didn't want to take my order nor be at work take your butt home. As a matter of fact, the female server can take her butt home also If she doesn't want to do her job and help the customers that are there to pay for their services and the food. After taking my order he pointed at my spouse and said that she needs to move out of that area if she's ordering food from the Pureocean Beachside Dining location. I asked my wife to move up one level so we could sit together with my Gizmo's food and the Pureocean food. We ate our meal together since we got in later than expected and had not eaten the entirety of the morning and noon time. The food I received was hot and appeared enticing. The plate was delivered to me even though I wasn't within the Gizmo's area of "we only serve here" and "not up there". This whole restaurant seem and the workers didn't seem as if they wanted their jobs nor they enjoy them. Kevin did eventually come by and interact with me on a basic level. The next visit and last visit was at 11:50am when the worker indicated they would not be open until noon. At noon on Tuesday, we returned and requested two orders to go and the apparent cook told the server it would be at least 20 minutes on the hot dog and the cold turkey wrap. While we waited, we observed customers asking about ordering food and being told to go find a server to place their order. Again, the rudeness of workers and servers at this point was on full display for residents and guest to witness. A side conversation by a female cook was obscene and should not have been said aloud in public by this worker at...
Read moreOur first night at the hotel we sat down to have dinner. There were very few people there yet we waited a good 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table. Our waiter was nice enough but hard to understand what he was saying through his mask. We ended up getting fish n chips which were ok, a little over done and definitely not worth $21. The next mushing we went to the restaurant on property for breakfast. $24.95 for all you can eat buffet.... great except neither of us could eat that much food, but had no other option. We went back to gizmo for dinner that night. Service was much better, Our waitress was Marie-(she had a second name but don't remember what it was). She was OUTSTANDING!!! Food was better, we got the gizmos bomber pizza, I think. Was still not worth $21 and chips and salsa that should've come before our pizza came after. Over all, our waitress made the experience good just wish there were more options and that they weren't...
Read moreOn our first visit to the resort, this was the recommended spot for lunch, as we arrived around lunchtime. We tried the chicken gyro, lamb gyro, chicken wings, and grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was good, except for the chicken wings, which were quite bland. Despite this, we returned every day during our stay for lunch. After a day at the beach, we would head straight there and stick to our favorites. I particularly loved their piña colada. On days we visited the pool, we would order lunch to go and enjoy it in the poolside...
