Hotspot Hutspot Schieham — Restaurant in Schiedam

Great place for everyone, also (but certainly not only!) for people with a budget. We come here usually for a small bite in the afternoon on a Saturday and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The place used to be a sport school and there are some elements of that left in the place as decorations. The furniture is thrift store style and it totally works with the brick walls.

The food and drinks are great. Many local products (cheese maker Booij, for example, is in Rotterdam West afaik). We usually go for some sort of sandwich, the typical snack in the afternoon.

Great place to visit in Schiedam with friends! Atmosphere and the idea behind the place is top! Good food and very special (soft) drinks! I can highly recommend salie lemonade with chili van kikkererwt! The staff is very friendly...

Van buiten een prachtig gebouw. Helaas was dit het enige positieve puntje van deze avond. Het voorgerecht (zalm met asperges) werd geserveerd in een plastic bakje als een goedkope frikadel speciaal en had helaas ook evenveel mayonaise. Het hoofgerecht (varkenshaas met salade) was erg droog en doorbakken. De salade had ook weer veel mayonaise. Het was de eerste keer in mijn leven dat ik bord vol heb laten staan, het personeel kwam wel vragen waarom maar daar bleef het bij. Nu had een nieuw gerecht niet gehoeven, want het gerecht van mijn partner was even slecht. Verder was het restaurant erg stoffig en gaf geen frisse indruk. Ik raad af om hier te gaan eten, wij komen er in elk geval...
