Griekse Taverna Broersvest — Restaurant in Schiedam

This restaurant has absolutely nothing to do with Greek food. The quality was terrible and everything we ordered smelled bad. The meat smelled spoiled, and we couldn’t eat a single thing.

I’m very disappointed because several months ago, when we had visited again, the quality was completely different and much better. I don’t know if the owner or management has changed, or if they simply decided to lower their standards — either way, I wouldn’t feed this food even to my dogs.

We ordered the haasmix with mushroom sauce and the vismix. They came with a plate of rice and fries. Overall the food was really good. The haasmix came with pork, chicken, and beef and everything was super tender and tasted deliciously charred. The fishmix came with calamari, salmon, and gamba. My favorite was the salmon because it was the perfect mix of crispy and tender. The calamari was also good however I would love a bit more flavor. I had a very bad experience with the waitress here.i ordered wine where I use to order.twice they make a mistakes and when I spoke and ask the waitress she turned and insisted that that is the wine I ordered, in a very rudeness manner .She took the wine and come after with the right wine I ordered w/o even saying sorry just turn her back in a snubbed way!!!!very bad !!! ..I use to love this restaurant I even bring friends to eat here..disappointed 100%..
