Beautiful windmill with friendly staff. This is also the location from where the local tour boat departs and arrives, and where you can buy tickets for the boat.
I believe everyone involved is a volunteer, all seem to really enjoy being there.
My boat and museum tour was in Dutch, so inquire before hand if English is possible. Would be nice for the historical and anecdotal information, but I believe without you will still have a very nice experience. I did see printed information in multiple languages.
The windmill has different floors, the higher up you go the steeper the stairs. Good place to conquer your fear of heights 😉.
GF - museum entrance & shop 1 - flex working area 2 - miller's work & storage area 3 - start of museum tour 4 - interactive area where you can mill your own bag of flour 5 - actual mill area, this mill is still in working condition and has three milling stones 5 - outside deck with stunning views and if you are afraid of heights, 'don't look down'.

Boating season is from April to October I believe, check the...
