Restaurant DE ZEEUWSE HEMEL: Not quite heaven, but at least there's a cat 😼
We came to De Zeeuwse Hemel hoping for a little taste of heaven. What we got was... well, purgatory with soup.
They took our order — or so we thought. My partner asked for a burger, but mysteriously received the same soup I had ordered. Oh well, he ate it. Not like we were going to starve… yet.
Then came the real test of faith: we waited an hour for the burger to arrive. During that time, a fellow diner at the next table shouted “HERE! Bring it HERE!” at a bewildered waitress, and we realized — we were not alone in our suffering.

Both rooms were spacious and the superior king room came with a small space for kids bed (and a cot) with a connecting door. The bathrooms were clean and bright. Rooms came with breakfast which was generous and wholesome. The only little setback is the very steep stairs so for elderlies and children need to be very cautious. Check in and check out process was also a breeze. Opposite is Capri ice cream popular for their huge variety...
