Tucked down MelkMaarkt Straat, just off Zierikzee’s main square, this cosy eatery is a hidden gem. Look for the Ramen sign, and you’ve struck gold. Run by Sander and Eline, who are passionate about quality, everything here is made from scratch. The warm, quirky décor reflects their love for serving delightful food, cakes, and drinks.

☕ Coffee Lovers’ Paradise: Their filter coffees are consistently excellent, always offering something excellent. The knowledge is there, and it shows.

🥟 Delicious Eats: I tried the pulled pork empanada—flaky, flavourful pastry paired with a refreshing side salad, making for a perfect light lunch. The vegan Katsu Curry, served with noodles, was a standout. Each vegetable was perfectly cooked, from the charred spring cabbage to the al dente new potatoes. The Katsu sauce was delicious, and because the care was taken with the main items of the dish, I would have happily eaten it without the curry sauce, but it made the dish whole and even more perfect!

🍰 Homemade Dessert Heaven: Save room for dessert—everything is homemade. The cheesecake topped with passionfruit was a delight, creamy and fresh, leaving me craving more.

We came here for brunch on a weekday during our vacation and made reservations beforehand. The brunch was simply amazing! Everything was freshly prepared and so delicious. It was very varied and there were lots of choices- different kind of filled bagles, pastries, juices. And the coffee was so good that we ended up buying some beans to bring home. The location itself is cosy with lots of love to detail. The staff is super friedly and quick. Great start to the day for sure! And no need for a further meal after such a rich brunch- we left full and happy....

I went to this place on the fourth day of my sailing course. It was my turn to be the skipper that day and the anxiety of the responsibility just fell away as I was eating the most amazing oatmeal I have ever had in my life. The coffee was amazing too!
