Came here tonight to enjoy dinner with my wife, the view was good but this is where it ends.

We both ordered grilled black angus steak, My wife wanted hers well done with black pepper sauce, I wanted mine rare with aioli, after we ordered, the waitress came asking twice which of 2 had to be well done, when received our order both were rare. after complaining to the waitress and mentioning that it had to be well done she took the plate and came back 20 min later with the same steak burned on the outside but the inside still red and raw.

The hospitality of waitresses was also bad and disrespectful, asking twice in less then 3 min after giving us a seat if we already decided what we will eat while clearly we where still looking through the menu.

Kids are allowed to run through the cafe/restaurant shouting all over the place

During our weekend trip to Giethoorn we chose this restaurant for our Saturday evening diner. The atmosphere on the terrace was absolutely good. The service was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the quality of the food. Although the price was quite attractive, the food should have a base quality.
