Came here at 8:15pm and it was the time for last orders as they close at 9pm. Lady was still happy to serve us and the food was cooked to good chinese standards.
I’m surprised with the quality because the fire that came through the frying in the wok could be tasted and they got chinese chefs so you can be sure this is as authentic as it gets.
The restaurant was empty since I was the last customer that came through at the end of the day.
Prices are not cheap as you will want because this is Europe and all chinese food are expensive anyways. A simple dish like a protein with rice is €14.50 and up.
Beef is more expensive at €18-€20 and they also serve alcohol here.
Restaurant is pretty clean but I can’t really tell much since it was an eclectic theme and the dark interior makes it less obvious to notice. But the utensils are clean and have no watermarks.
They serve good chinese food and you can get a good meal here to ease your food cravings if you are visiting Giethoorn village.
Lots of chinese...
Read moreThe place was clean, the tables were nicely arranged but unfortunately, the buck stops there. At 12-15€ a dish, the food was definitely not on the cheaper side but you get to know that before you get it because there was a menu taped to the glass wall. What was disappointing was what you get for the money you spend. I actually thought of using an excavation kit to find chicken in my chicken fried rice but I wouldn't have get far because the each gain of rice was copiously coated in oil. The salt was a little on the higher side but that can be forgiven. What could not be forgiven is that the portion served was good enough for a cat, not a human. At 12€ i would expect a decent portion of nothing else. Run, while...
Read moreTerrible experience. The inside of the restaurant smelled bad, so we had to eat on the terrace, with the bad luck that one of the employees went out to smoke at a table near ours. I ordered fried rice with beef and vegetables, the beef was half raw, I almost vomited from disgust. My partner ordered fried rice with chicken and vegetables, the chicken was also half raw, in the end we didn't eat either the chicken or the beef. Don’t expect to have a fork and knife or chopsticks, you have to eat with a spoon and you must search for napkins. No ice cubes with your drinks.. I give it one star because I can't give zero, the quality doesn't even come...
