Bar Club 188 — Restaurant in The Hague

I love Bar Club 188 so much. My 35th last weekend was an absolutely GREAT party and we had a blast thanks to Nikki, Kaar and the 188 crew.

We hired a great band - Hot Club Kwartet - and even though the EK was on, Nikki and Kaar made sure we had our own space, sorted out the band, took care of us, took money behind the bar so I could get drinks for my friends, and basically were amazing with an enormous group of rowdy British people! An excellent memory of the night was Kaar arriving at my elbow and asking ‘Shall I make the snacks happen again?’ - to which I only needed to nod regally and behold, snacks appeared for my friends and family. My terrible Dutch is both encouraged and forgiven. Five star service indeed.

These girls know how to run a great bar! We've been for a few previous party's there and it's always a great night so we decided have my husbands birthday there last night. What a great evening! The girls are attentive and accomidating. The music is a great mix of everything, the beer is very affordable the bar has great character, diverse clientel all with friendly faces, different sports on demand, karaoke, quiz nights, darts, something for everyone! Keep in mind if you can get 20+ people together for your booked events you get a bit of discount on your drinks. I really recommend everyone have a club 188 experience at leased once in their life and for sure you will want to go...

A group of work colleagues visited here we had a lot of fun watching the Nederlands play football. The bar was full of fans watching the game vs. Germany. Despite going in front in the first half, Germany pulled two goals back, but the amazing Dutch got an equaliser in a hotly contested game. Lots of games pool! Board games darts etc the locals were very friendly amd kind.. a nice local bar, we shall be back. It was also raining heavily, but we were welcomed in. A plus point when the Dutch scored we were presented with a small beer for free. I even bought one of the games...
