I don’t know if the restaurant is having trouble financially and has resorted to shrinkflation-ing their dishes, but I was served the world’s thinnest waffle and the tiniest pieces of chicken (see picture) and then some fruit…for €15. The name of the item is “chicken and waffles” and yet it’s one waffle and then it’s a 1cm thick waffle at that. I’d been here before and the food was really good, so it’s disappointing to see this is how they serve food now. We made a reservation in advance for lunch, which was supposed to be a quite important work gathering. Unfortunately, the customer service was awful. We waited 50 minutes for simple dishes, mostly sandwiches. I think it was forgotten as we had to go the kitchen to ask for the order, and suddenly all of it arrived. No compensation whatsoever, just a sorry for the delay. Suprisingly, the restaurant was empty, it was only one other table with drinks. I don't usually leave bad reviews for small businesses, but my experience was so disappointing that I feel the current 4.8/5 rating is misleading. While my two friends found their lunch to be average, the chicken and waffles I ordered were very disappointing. The waffle was so overcooked it was hard, and I couldn't eat most of it. The chicken was also poor quality. I mentioned this to the waitress, but no replacement or discount was offered. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture.
