D.E — Restaurant in The Hague

One of the worst experience ever in a cafeteria! I didn't knew that for the same thing you need to stay twice in the line! After we ordered two coffee and we didn't want to have tap water, we ask to have 2 bottles to the lady that can be see it in the picture. She said:"I will be in 2 minutes with you". After 5 minutes when we ask what happen with our bottles of water, the same person said:You need to stay in line for that! Great service, nice atitudine! How you can stay in line twice for the same thing??? For sure this cafeteria will be avoided from now one by me and my friend$!!! Update:Dear Mr. OWNER Thank you for your swift reply, but please keep in mind this:We came very well intended in your cafeteria, but your lady barista was not in a good mood.You cannot say :I will be in 2 minutes with you, and afterwards when we ask what happen with our botles of water to respond: Sorry but you have to stay in line for that!!! Really? We just order you 2 coffees and 2 botles if water! And you just said that you will came in 2 minutes for the bottles! I understand you approach but I cannot aggre on the fact that we had a misunderstanding. I also understand that you as a owner you need to protect your business, but you need to understand that you are losing clients with this kind of approach of your employees! Her atitudine was unbelievable:maybe she had a bad day, or literally she didn't like us. Is a petty for the quality of the coffee that you are selling, but me and my fellows we will not visit you at least for a long while!

P. S. THE CAFETERIA WAS NOT...

I ordered an Iced Cappucino blended with Caramel and it was not what I expected. Firstly, the coffee did not taste good (-1 star), then the caramel was not noticeable in the drink (-1 star). Moreover, the price was way too high for what I was offered, like the main international brands have cheaper and tastier iced coffee/cappuccino (-1 star). The place does look cozy, and I was thinking that will be nice to sit there, however, the iced cappuccino quality and taste will not make me come back. The two stars are offered for the place style and as hope that the recipe for iced coffee drinks...

Douwe Egberts cafe Babylon is a lovely cafe with amazing coffee. The staff are very friendly and this place is great for anyone (families, work meetings, studying, chilling). The iced latte with haver milk is one of my favorites, along with the delicious cakes!
