Shabu To Go — Restaurant in The Hague

This must be the worst Shabu in the Netherlands. We moved into the area a couple Of weeks ago and used to order at our old shabu on a weekly basis. When you order for a 100 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids and this is the quality you get it’s just unacceptable. The beef Ramen, it’s like you buy a bami at the cheapest supermarket and reheat it 3 times, we had to throw it out, couldn’t eat it. All the fried food was super dry and all mixed together in one sticky box. The sushi was dry and of a very poor level, the fish was not even fresh.

My family loves sushi, but we’ll need to find us another restaurant.

As I don't eat meat, I asked to have two beef sushi be replaced by salmon ones in a box and it was granted by the casher in Ypenburg. Once at home I found the two beef sushis contrary to what had been agreed. And in a second box there were chicken sushis !!! Look shabu staff of ypenburg, once you know your customer is vegan, you could at least inform him the box he ordered contain meat. By the way, sushis are usually traditionally made with fish. Very poor experience. The quality of the sushi was very poor. Paid 40 euros for tiny portions of poor quality sushi. The sushi itself fell apart when picking up and the presentation was like it had been thrown in the box with some sushi over others. Won't be ordering again as it's just not worth it.
