Café Locals — Restaurant in Tilburg

Locals is hands down my favorite Café in Tilburg! In my humble opinion, they make some of the most delicious coffee in town. I’ve been enjoying my Cappuccino with Oatmilk there for 6 years now and it’s always a delight - my favorite roast/coffee bean is the Colombian or Guatemalan one but honestly all their beans taste uniquely delicious. Spent many beautiful moments catching up with friends or journaling in solitude at Locals, it’s a beautiful cozy space (especially the two lounging chairs in front of the window). It can get quite crowded during the weekends, especially during lunch time/early afternoon but you’ll most likely still find a spot. If there’s a cafe I’d recommend to people in Tilburg, IT IS LOCALS! even if it’s just for a coffee to go, you’ll won’t regret...

The guy in the olive oil shop recommended this place for great koffie, je was not lying. The employees were great, knowledgeable and helpful. The koffie? Well I wanted some beans and the Guatamala blend is simply wonderful. Great flavour, intense aroma and a complex taste spectrum: all the result of expert roasting.

I am so pleased to have discovered this place and will be ordering by post from the website in future.

We ate lunch here and the food was really tasty. Despite it wasn't crowded at all, the service wasn't great. They didn't prioritize guests on when they came in, we had to remind the staff that we were willing to order, our drinks were served after the food and we had to ask for it a 2nd time. However the quality of the coffeebean was perfect, my coffee was weakened with water and tasted like tea. When we left nobody was interested in our opinion about the quality of the food or service, neither a goodbye. They can do so much better...
