If I could give no star at all, it would have been what they deserve. You are asked to wait at the door even without the rush hour at all times. It is possible to clearly see more than half of the restaurant is empty but they still make you wait 5-10 minutes without anyone caring for you. I was just there a couple of hours ago. Many empty tables. No waiter was in the eye sight. The cooks clearly saw us waiting there but no one even bothers to care for the waiting customer. They are not even bothered to let each other know so that someone comes and provide service. We ended up leaving the place after waiting at the door for nearly 10 minutes. Another couple also left the same reason. This is not the first time it happened to us so apparently waiters there are extremely unhappy. They don't really wanna work. So I decided not to be a trouble for them any longerand never going to visit the restaurant ever ever ever again. The whole attitude is so disrespectful. And the food does not even worth the wait, it is regular pasta and fast food like pizza. Don't be fooled by the name Happy Italy. Nowhere near as good.
I am pretty sure all the high stars are the people who know the owner or someone who works there. Because there is no way that place deserves 4 star in average when they don't even properly seat you....
Read moreFood: the pizza was delicious, really good. But the pasta was bland... it had barely any taste, especially the "roomsaus" had no flavour at all.
Service: we were given the wrong drinks twice. We decided to leave it as it was because it already went wrong twice... communication was also not great. Also, none of the staff seemed happy, I didn't see a single smile. (Seems like a huge red flag to me inside the company) None of the waiters for our table seemed kind. Everything took very long to prepare (this might be because they were understaffed, which can happen).
Atmoshpere: when more people started to leave, the music got louder and louder. I felt like I was in a club instead of a restaurant. It felt like staff was doing this for themselves without thinking about the guests, or they were trying to get rid of us... idk, but it was not great because we had to shout to hear each other.
Other people say it's very cheap, but for the same prices, I can get better tasting food served by happy staff in other restaurants.
I won't be coming back...
If you do decide to eat here, choose a pizza... at least the pizza...
Read moreMy experience today at this restaurant left much to be desired. If a restaurant advertises itself as being open until 10 pm and accepts bookings for 9 pm, it should commit to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for its customers, regardless of the hour. Unfortunately, my visit at 9 pm on a Friday evening was far from what I expected.
From the moment we walked in, we were met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. One staff member, who seemed to be in charge, displayed a level of disrespect that was entirely uncalled for. While serving us water, he went as far as to whisper something in another language, presumably assuming we wouldn't understand him. This not only displayed a complete lack of professionalism but also made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
In such an unwelcoming environment, we decided to cut our visit short and opted to take our pizzas to go. The fact that we weren't even allowed to take the remaining water with the bottle we had paid for was the final straw.
Suffice it to say, we have no plans of returning to this restaurant...
