gin Fizz — Restaurant in Tilburg

I have been coming to your bar for years and enjoyed my time at your bar however, yesterday during pink Monday you joined the list of businesses that screw you over just because you can.

As per the usual routine, I ordered a gin & tonic and paid a deposit for the plastic glass, which has been your long-standing buyer/seller agreement. The arrangement has worked well, allowing me to return the plastic glass after enjoying my drink and receive my deposit back.

However, on this particular occasion, I encountered an issue. Despite fulfilling my end of the agreement by returning the plastic glass, I was denied my deposit refund and was given two plastic coins instead.

I explained to the barman (who by the way also short poured on both drinks) that I was going home and had no use for plastic coins. He said "sorry you can use them next time you come". This is quite clearly not our buyer/seller agreement.

I also assume that if i had just thought, "I paid for the plastic glass I will take it home with me". Obviously I have more use for a plastic glass than two plastic coins. I would have been stopped by security?

Just to clarify, my concern isn't solely about the two euros; it's more about the feeling of being taken advantage of when things get busy. It's evident that the increased workload has a negative impact on the quality of both the service and the product value.

It felt disappointing to experience this unexpected level of service and the usual trust and fairness I had come to expect...

Hele toffe sfeer. Goeie setting en te gekke muziek. Ik kom er al jaren met enige regelmaat. Het enige wat me tegenhoudt zijn de cocktails. Zelf liefhebber van whisky sour. En ik heb hier nog nooit, maar dan ook echt nog nooit twee keer dezelfde whisky sour gekregen. Meestal komt het niet eens in de buurt van whisky sour omdat de bartender(s) er een eigen twist aan geven maar gisteren heb ik ronduit de slechtste sour in mn leven gedronken. Tijdens het shaken zelfs tegen de barkeep gezegd dat t echt niet op een sour begon te lijken maar ik moest maar afwachten. Ging echt lekker worden. Het enige pluspunt was het eiwit dat voor de eerste keer goed was opgeklopt.

Kom zeker naar deze tent. Maar hou het bij bier, wijn of gewoon een puur drankje. Laat onder geen beding je een cocktail voorschotelen. Kunnen ze gewoon niet. Jammer van...

Al vaker geweest, altijd leuk gehad. Vanavond vond de barman het (waarschijnlijk omdat we met een grotere groep waren) nodig om onvriendelijk en ronduit onbeschoft te doen. We bestelden wat drankjes bij een ander barmeisje maar die bestelling werd door het betreffende barhoofd geannuleerd omdat we niet "vanaf het correcte punt hadden besteld". Vervolgens werden we een hele tijd genegeerd. Onwijs kinderachtig, en nergens voor nodig: we waren met een grotere groep maar we zijn in mijn optiek constant vriendelijk gebleven.
