Service was awful. Food did not taste fresh, and the cocktails tasted like old dish water. When I complained about the food no discounts or swaps were offered.

Reply to the Owner: I received my main dish, boneless ribs, and at first taste, something seemed off. The food was very fatty, and has a strange 'raw meat' after taste. I flagged down the waitress and told her this. She just kind of stood there and looked at me. My husband and I found her physical response to be more of a "ok-well, what do you want me to do about it?" kind of thing. I explained that I was not happy, I did not find this to be nice, that it tasted off, and that I didn't want it. The waitress offered to take the plate back, which I agreed to. And that was it. I figured that I would at least be discounted considering I had not eaten any of the hoofdgerecht, but the incident was not brought up again. Wij hebben de munten van Taste Coins hier uitgegeven en waren heel enthousiast! De bediening vond ik enorm vriendelijk en we hebben ook nog eens heerlijk gegeten in een gezellig bruin café!

Als je binnenkomt voelt het al gelijk heel gezellig. Gewoon zoals de naam doet vermoeden, een bruin café en als extraatje nog een leuk bloemetjesbehang. We moesten even wachten, want het is niet heel groot binnen. Gelukkig gingen er net wat mensen weg en konden we na enkele minuten plaats nemen. Op het verwarmde terras waren ook genoeg plaatsen, maar ik ben nogal een koukleum, dus wij wilden graag binnen zitten.

De enthousiaste gastvrouw nam onze bestelling op en gaf ons ook nog het advies om de gerechten te delen. We konden zo beiden gerechten proeven en daar was ik heel blij mee. Het waren redelijk grote porties voor een local taste, dus delen was een goede tip. We kregen een bapoa gevuld met kip en met tonijn bovenop en een carpacciorol. Echt zeer goed op smaak, ook de sausjes die erbij zaten waren verukkelijk!
