Damas Restaurant Utrecht — Restaurant in Utrecht

I went here with a friend on a Thursday evening. There was no one else so it was very quiet. There was Middle Eastern music which was very nice and also the person that served us spoke English and he was very nice. The atmosphere could use a little bit of adjustments and at one point we were really cold. I think because they didn’t have the heater on and the light was really white so it was not very cozy, other than that the prices were very low for what you get. We got starter, main dish and dessert and the food was amazing It’s traditional Syrian food and we also got drinks so overall we enjoyed our dinner. The meat was very tender and everything was seasoned very well and the best part was the dessert Kunafa. I do recommend this place if you want to have GOOD...

i swear, we don't like to disrupt people's livelihoods, but none of the restaurant owners did anything nice or respectful. I called them two days ago about iftar reservation, and we came from another city. so we was surprised when he told us that our name wasn't on the reservation list. Then we waited a bit, and according to him, i might find a table, but nothing happened. The unfortunate thing is that the time of the iftar ka started already and he didn't say anyting and he don’t even apologize or even gave us a date’s or water to...

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be an incredible find! The food was absolutely amazing—full of rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place where everything just clicks, but this was definitely one of those spots....
