Bella Italia — Restaurant in Utrecht

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd, it was late 1h.

I called the restaurant but I received a very impolite response and a man shouting at me on the phone.

Allegedly he arrived at my apartment and called - I admit I didn’t hear him call.

He shouted at me straight for 10 min - I don’t want to take negativity and a man shouting at me. Besides, I’m the customer.

He proposed that I pickup the pizza but I can’t because I’m sick, I explained he kept on shouting at me “it’s your problem”. On another night I would, but tonight I can’t. Besides the attitude pushed me away. I requested he gives the money back but he kept shouting “it’s your problem”.

Ordered takeout lasagne and bread with herb butter. Lasagne was basically a soup - bits of pasta and cheese floating in tomato water. Barely any meat, no seasoning, no flavour. Bread was old and stale, tiny amount of butter. Owner wouldn't give a refund because we'd tried to eat it (we waited an hour and were very hungry once it arrived and had nothing else in, and we thought we might as well try as sometimes even the worst looking foods taste good). He said if we hadn't eaten some of it he would have come and picked it up. Why? To give to another customer? 🤢 We ended up throwing most of it away. Will never order...

Schandalige tent, ik snap niet dat je je tent 'Bella Italia' kan noemen en zo slechte pizza's kan leveren. Een diepvries pizza is nog lekkerder dan dit. Besteld via thuis bezorgd en na ruim 1,5 a 2 uur kwamen de pizza's koud binnen. Na zelf de pizza's opgewarmd te hebben heb ik ze gegeten. Veel spijt van gehad, want het was echt niet lekker alleen had ik na al die tijd wachten honger en wou echt eten. Het was een droge en zoute bende. Na het eten dacht ik even het restaurant op te bellen, om ze te vertellen dat ik baalde van alles en vroeg mij af of ze een verklaring hadden. Ik ben namelijk normaal niet van het plaatsen van een review. Ook hier heb ik spijt van ik werd zo onfatsoenlijk aangesproken en de meneer an de andere kant van de lijn vroeg zich af of ik de pizza nog had want fan kon hij het pas oplossen. Sinds het begin van dit gesprek ging hij in discussie en hij wou totaal geen gesprek mdt mij aangaan om het feit wat er mjs was gegaan. Zo jammer dit! AUB BESTEL...
