Torii sushi — Restaurant in Utrecht

Despite the food being decent, the service is very bad and so disorganized. Two different stores on Uber eats and the two have different pricing, only one is according to the website. Plus on Uber eats and on their own website both stores seem to deliver until 22:30, on Google tho the closing time of the Nachtegaalstraat is until 21:30 on a Sunday, while when you call them up the restaurant claims to close at 21?! The discount codes offered by the restaurant also don’t seem to work on the their own website and unfortunately the employees are mostly lost some even annoyed at what to do in terms of costumer service. My issue was in regard a an issue they had on Uber eats which didn’t allow me to order due to lack of plastic bags?! After the advice that I should order on their website it became about the discount code, then I noticed the price difference on Uber with the two stores, by that I couldn’t order since the website would not allow me bc only the store that’s too far from my house would be open, despite having been given the advice to order from that store. Anyway a mess. So after calling the two different stores like a ping pong a total of 3 times, getting hanged up once and despite my third attempt speaking with someone who seemed much more interested in addressing any of the delivery or discount issues I had, despite being promised to be called back with a solution, that never happened. I spend more time trying to fix the issue with the restaurants then anything. I honestly think that paying an average of 30 euros per meal, while there’s a big chance you will have to to make the effort yourself to have the service slightly consistent or simply delivered is just completely ridiculous, you are not paying to get a service done, you are completely giving your money away. I have ordered a 72 sushi Daiwa box, wakame salad, and edamame through the Thuizbezorgd. The delivery person delivered a bag that was all damaged and the sushi box was missing. Thuizbezorgd claims the restaurant does not agree to issue a refund therefore I will not get my money back from neither from Torii Sushi nor from Thuisbezorgd. Also, the numbers provided here on google and on Thuisbezorgd are unreachable and Thuizbezorgd has provided me the 'right' number, although when I called, they’ve told me the manager will get in touch with me and they never did. Don’t order from them, because if anything goes wrong, good luck with figuring out who’s responsible and how to get your money back for food that you did...

I have been ordering from Torii sushi for 2 years now. In the past they used to have these huge portions of poke bowl, I would eat it for 2 meals. I noticed that recently this is not the case anymore, which is understandable because the price is the same as before. However, I do feel like the quality of the poke bowls is not as good. Yet, I would give them a 4 star rating, because even though today one of the poke bowls was spilled all over the bag, very quickly they delivered another one.
