Vascobelo V-bar Nachtegaalstraat — Restaurant in Utrecht

Ordered coffee got no milk or sugar. Asked for the menu card and nobody came to take my order. I went inside and the i told the girl what i wanted and she asked me if i had taken the order from the others. We also had to wait for nearly an hour. When the order arrived , ships and a croquet I asked for Mayonaise and she gave me salad saus. So you can imagine that we where not happy at all and we said we will never come back.

Coffee was good and a very nice place to sit for brunch. Nothing out of this world, but we were not expecting anything else than good coffee, to be fair.

Food on the other hand...not great. We got a Croque Monsieur and a Croque Madame. To say that they were the furthest things from what they are trying to be - is an understatement. We paid 10 and 13.90 respectively for 2 lukewarm ham and cheese sandwiches (with toasted bread and cheese barely melted). We had high hope for the glamorous new brunch Cafe opening up, peering through the window during construction showed promise!

Our first breakfast was just what we wanted from this new cool Cafe. Perfect eggs on a nice bun was great for a breakfast. The coffee was great and the tea selection offered a lot of variety. Can't wait till they grow the menu a bit with baked beans, mushrooms ect as they get into their stride.
