Disappointing! They say they are selling the best French fries in Venlo, and seeing how many people were queuing up to get some, I thought they were right. While the price is definitely okay, the fries were underwhelming. They tasted bland, and while the first one were pretty large, the fries near the bottom of the bag were more like crumbles. And what shocked me the most: They fried their fries in beef fat. While that's ok and can add flavour, they did not have a sign explaining that. So vegans would order a bag of fries thinking they're vegan, because why wouldn't they, and get a bag of fries fried in beef fat. So go somewhere else if you want fries. It's not...

Ohhh!! Super crowded, but don't judge on the location, there's a reason it's crowded and it's a good one! I was a little judgy at first, but we went and I was so, SO surprised by the taste and the fast service. They make the food while you are ordering and when you pay it's already done. They serve some really good Dutch sausages, and their fries are thick and crispy, real yummy. I really enjoyed this. You probably would like it too, so go check it out if you are nearby anyway. Don't let the crowded look or interesting name of the place scare...

Bon dans l'ensemble, j'aurai bien mis 4 étoiles et 1/2 mais sorry j'ai mis une étoile de moins pour le service. Le gérant était pratiquement seul au service en plein rush alors que son second nettoyait les tables dehors alors qu'il n'y a personne à l'extérieur et limite il y avait une pluie fine. Cette aide aurait pu faire les frites voire les mettre dans les paquets ou bien préparer les plateaux pour lui... ca fait gagner tjs un peu de temps mais si le patron ne dit rien où ne le laisse pas faire donc l'aider derrière les fourneaux, il se tire lui-même des balles aux pieds alors qu'il refoule tout le temps les nouveaux clients qui tentent de faire la file. Sinon, les fish & chips et kibbelings étaient très bons surtout les frites! :) Je mets une 1/2 étoile en moins parce que la bouteille d'eau Chaudfontaine est à 3,20€ soit les 6 achetées à 19,20 €... bon il m'en a repris mais ça fait cher en friterie 3,20 € la Chaudfontaine... pour ce prix-là, le client mérite de la Spa, non ? ;) Verdict final, les 4 étoiles sont...
