Mocca — Restaurant in Venlo

Food was great. We ordered there special fruit cheese cake and that was delicious 😋. I also ordered cappuccino which i would say was tasty too. I am a coffee person and i always look for the good quality Coffee ☕. I would say they have good coffee but not the best. Still i enjoyed it and the cake was good too. So food was 5 out of 5. Service was also good not bad but it was like they were in a hurry, and i didn't feel welcome there. Also the washroom was not cleaned, but for that i wouldn't blame them One kid came out of the washroom when i was going inside. Both the toilets were for men and women, i think they should separate it gender wise maybe that would help to keep it more clean. Otherwise everything was good. I went here just to get a coffee and a piece of "Luxe Limburgse vlaai" with someone else. We both were not satisfiedwith what we were served. The iced cappucino did not taste like anything special to justify the €4,90 price tag. The strawberry vlaai is not made by them nad it is not something I would dare call vlaai. It was more like a thin cake topped with strawberries. It reminds me more of a cheap supermarket bought vlaai than a handmade vlaai from a bakery.

I haven't tried the food in this place, but for a place with coffee in the name I would expect that the coffee they serve is what they are most proud of and what I got was not something I would be proud of...

Mocca is a small restaurant in the center of Venlo and located on a picturesque and therefore cozy square. It concerns a coffee-bar, breakfast and lunchroom. Dinner is not possible. Recently they have increased there menu-prices and this makes it easy? to pay €18,- for a salad. That's on the high side for Venlo-City standards and during our presence, many customers walked away after viewing the menu... It is simply too expensive and that is a pity! Service and food quality is more than fine, but unfortunately not for this money.
