DIELS Restobar — Restaurant in Wageningen

We had an amazing dinner with friends and family at Diels! The food was great and the service was amazing. However afterwards the taxi we had reserved in advance canceled on us last minute and it was close to midnight so many taxi companies were fully booked and unavailable. We tried to book some ourselves and asked our hotel reception but they were no help. However the waiting staffs of Diels were so very helpful and patient and helped us find a taxi in this difficult situation even after they had closed. Without them we would have been stuck and wouldn't have been able to make it back to our hotel. Thank you...

Amazing. I had the Duck with earth pear and it was beyond delicious! My partner had the cauliflower with truffles cheese and mushrooms and that was also an extreme flavour and texture explosion. The serving staff was extremely kind without being fake or overwhelming. Next to that they recommended two wines with our dishes that complemented the dish astonishingly well. It is a restaurant with slightly expensive items but the food quality is 100% worth it!!! I would recommend anyone to eat here and experience the amazing ambiance and flavours! I'll definitely be coming...

Extremely slow service, unpolite and arrogant. The food was nice and well presented. However it was nothing too special for the price. If you have some gastronomic experience you can quickly grasp that. When I said that we had to wait more than half an hour between plates they did not take it well.
