StYed in-house & thought we would give it a try but wish we had gone out. The restaurant does ala carte & buffet which is what we tried. Dinner was around $60/hd. Tables are inside with limited views. Nothing spectacular despite being close to the Bay. Food was a soup, some salads , some seafood (prawns, mussels), whole salmon (cold & bit dry), 2 roast meats (pork good, chicken a bit dry) & various hot dishes (beef stroganoff was pick). Desert was various cakes, slices, pavlovas, Apple crumble with custard & ice creams. There was also various cheeses & biscuits. Food was OK but no stand outs. There was a bar with table service. The service was OK but not great - no finger bowls for seafood, no food scrap bowls (prawn peelings, mussel shells, salmon bones), no asking if you would like another drink. Biggest disappointment was not being told the buffet was closing until 10 or so minutes before & we still hadn't started desert - not mentioned when we opted for buffet around an hour earlier. Wouldn't do the buffet again.

We entered at 6.30 and didn't get food served tell 7.30 so every body was antsy by the time food was served . When the food was served the portions were small for the majority of the meals as was orderd off the menu that night... my beef ribs meal nice but small& meat lovers pizzas was the worst one I've had yet... I think over all it was expensive for a not so plesest experience would Never go back again! Was a regretted decision . Had a buffet breakfast in the past and that was very nice so was thinking the dinner would be alot better then the experience we...

I was hesitant to have dinner here after reading the other reviews but im soooo glad I came here. Our food was Beautiful, tasty and good value for money. The fish and chip meal actually couldnt have been better! Cooked perfectly crispy and super fresh. The kids meals were delicious with every piece of food devoured by kids who always have food left on a plate normally. The chef was wonderful and accomodating. The staff friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend on our...
