Was so excited for this menu and when I finally had a chance to go was disappointed in the food in terms of price..2 x bao buns $15 ..great fresh soft bun but filling was a let down 2 tiny pieces of chicken and a spoon of pickled onions 1 bun had coriander and mayo and the other didn't...I mean what's abit of mint coriander and carrot gna cost you to elevate the dish and give it some freshness to compliment that awesome bun?abit more chicken too that alone would make me keep going back..oh n the brisket soup was a spoonful of tiny pieces of brisket.4 leaves of bok and the rest was all noodle and a not so flavorsome broth there was no depth and for $20?..n the salmon salad pretty much rice n cabbage though the salmon itself was nice the dressing needed more acidity and that was $22..just do it the way it was meant to be done keep it traditional and good value for money.Service and atmosphere...

Great find in Kerikeri. A little out of the main drag but it’s not far. Their menu is VERY well priced and so delicious and good for you. I had the beef bao buns and a tulip soy latte. The buns were so fresh and soft and the vegetables and sauce was delicious. The coffee was great and having had Supreme coffee a number of times I couldn’t fault it. The only downside for me is the branding and atmosphere. It’s going for a chilled out, umbrella, on-the-beach kinda vibe but I thought the layout is a bit disjointed. I think with a rebranding this place can go far!

(Replying to owners reply) - Yeah, I didn’t like the branding (name, font, imagery) so think a rebranding will be cool. And sure you are working with what you have, but the spaces could be utilised better. Felt like I was in different cafes in...

Visited today and will definatley be back!! Coffee was really good with no burnt bitter taste and not scolding hot. We got a fried chicken and a salmon bowl, really fresh and they do not skimp on the salad (I hate it when you get a bowl and 90 percent of it Is rice!). Also got a pair of bao buns with chicken which were lovely and airy with just enough filling so it didn't become a mess. Overall the food we had was fresh and light and didn't leave me feeling gross afterward.

The service was very friendly and I could tell they were familiar with a few customers which is always sweet to see. The food and coffee was prepared very quickly so there was minimal wait time which was great too👍
