Thai restaurant that appears to be owned and run by Indians.
Found this place after a google search for Thai restaurants and the prices on the website didn’t look bad … unfortunately when we got there we discovered the prices on the website were incorrect and not up-to-date … the prices were actually significantly more. After the restaurant manager told us they would not honour the prices on their website we walked out and found somewhere else to eat. We felt kindve silly having dressed up and driven into town only to be disrespected …we felt kindve cheated.
We ended up going to Chang Siam … a short drive out of town. It was packed but the atmosphere, service, and food...

My friend n I ordered a meal each, his was buttered chicken, I had lamb chop masala$17 and $17.50 I also got buttered naan bread$3 and we had a Singha beer each.$6.50per bottle. Over experience was ok....will I go back??maybe...or am I too use to Auckland prices At $16 for a meal with a decent portion of rice and naan bread...
Read moreHad some good meals here but was a bit disappointed with the meal there tonight. Ordered Mutter Mushroom Curry which the menu described the sauce as creamy tomato based. What arrived didn't seem to match that description. The second dish was Aloo Gobhi, described on the menu as a dry vegetarian delicacy. It came with the same sauce over it as the Mutter Mushroom. Ended up with two dishes tasting the same. Went for a Masala Chai which I had had there before. It was like a strong tea. Did not taste cardamom or ginger as described on the drinks menu. Perhaps an off night or not...
