Muffin Break — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Had a Soy Latte that tasted extremely bad. Doesn’t taste like soy or coffee. I don’t know how they made it but I just had a sip and that’s it. My friend (which been a barista for 10 years) tried it and she said it was the worst coffee ever. She even said it tasted like toilet water 😅 the custard triangle was good tho. Good coffee and food BUT they could not clear the tables. There were no free tables i counted five tables that just sat there dirty. had to clear our own table in doing this I spilt our coffee they couldn't even swipe our table. We did it using tissues. I said something to the duty manager. She said they were short staffed .rubbish there were 8 staff and stood there waiting for the next order. Not good...

Appallingly bad!! Food was burnt while reheating and then handed over in that state as if they couldn't see the charcoal. Cup was dirty and chipped both sides so needed replacing before tea could be poured. Service is lacking - you queue and repeat the order a few times to different people and then you wait to get your food and drinks from the counter. Things could easily...
