Papamoa Plaza Food Court — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

We travelled from out of town for shopping and I had the Chinese smorgasboard and it was mostly all very chewy, and the salt and pepper squid was really awful I only ate one piece and it was like eating fishy rubber...it was extremely fishy tasting as if it hadn't been marinated at all or it was slightly off (we make it at home, and we have it at local eateries so we love and know our salt and pepper squid)...only the spicy chicken was reasonably good. My mum had the Sushi which she quite often gets for lunch, but first time at this one and she had "repercussions" having to stop at several public toilets on our way home. My son had Mexican which he said was quite good, but not the best he's had. Sorry for the negative feedback, we aren't usually complainers at all.. but businesses can't improve without it. Absolutely horrified with the notice of the rainbow community asking for money. There are people starving and homeless in NZ and throughout the world. They have already taken over womens spaces, literally men can go into women's spaces women fought for many years ago no questions asked. No operation needed and we have to look at their man parts and be silent. Speak out and you can seriously get into trouble. Women born women must keep their mouths shut or watch out!! I decided to pick up a meal for our dinner tonight, I went to GREAT SPICE as wasn't surprised that the basic take away meal had increased. The sign on the counter advertised : $16.00 for rice with any of the dishes on display with naan and a can of drink. I made my selection and advised I didn't want the drink. I paid $14.00.
