Smile Sushi — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

I'm a regular, I often order party packs for kids & adults' parties. Even though I have quite a few sushi restaurants near my place, I always go there as their food is nice and the owner is Korean. Yes, I'm Korean as well, and I was so much disappointed with one of your staffs yesterday and your sushi as well.

When I picked up the party pack yesterday, the Asian girl at the counter was rude. She seemed like she was not ready for the job or didn't want to meet people there. I'm not sure if she is Korean or not as I talked to her in English and she never replied. She never said A SINGLE WORD to me. I said hi and she didn't even look at me, so I said 'excuse me, I'm picking up my party pack that I preordered and paid yesterday', then she very rudely pointed the party pack with her CHIN that was located far from me and got back to her work again. Didn't she need to bring it to me? I was not begging you to give it for free. I went there to pick it up by myself and came back to the counter. She was not even busy, I was the only customer at that time. When I asked how much the extra 2 bowls of chicken were, she again didn't say a word and just forced me to pay. She seemed like saying 'whatever. Just pay and go.' I nearly said 'do you have a mouth?'

And the sushi was so dried. When I said 'I'm gonna pick it up at 3pm', that meant i expected you to make it fresh just before the time. I didn't want old sushi just being packed in a party pack. I've got a few more parties coming soon but I need to think again whether to go...

This place used to be really delicious, however I have returned a few times in the last 6 months and each time it seems to degrade in quality. During my recent visit I found the chicken was almost inedible, and there were uncooked pieces of rice in my sushi- which really surprised me as I would think that correctly cooked rice is the foundation of sushi making.
