Street Side Thai Eatery — Restaurant in Canterbury

Clean area, staff nice but didnt really follow through or know what they were doing. Thats the positive! Lots of people ordering take out waiting in the front area. We were some of the first reservations to arrive at 6pm. Left around 8.35 as the restaurant closes at 9. Took our drinks, entree and main order and then waited 40 mins for a bottled soda and bottled cider (40mins to get it from a fridge and walk it to us), another 20 mins for the other 3 basic drinks to arrive. 1.5hr since arriving for first entree and 1 meal. Other tables who arrived after us were getting their meals before us. 4 meals a full 2 hours since arriving, and 1 meal and 1 entree never came at all. A different random meal was added to our order and bought out unwanted. I wouldnt trust this place if you have any allergies just due to the mix ups. The food was fine, not special. I found the pad thai too sweet to continue. While some of us ate we had to go through the order verbally with different staff to see what we were missing still, repeating this a few times. In the end we didnt pay for the missing entre and meal, and the waitress at the counter who took over our service took off a soda and drink totalling under $15 comped for the 2.5 hour ordeal and it was around $150 for the rest...

Dined in for mothers day ,a group of 8.Arrived at 6pm ,ordered at 6.15 ,starters received at 7.30pm but 1 starter missing.Mains arrived at 8.30pm ,2 hours 15 mins after ordering. The restaurant was not quite full ,every table was having the same problem. When asking the waiter when we would get our meals he said he didn't know.The problem was the amount of takeaways that had been ordered online .The online system should have been turned off. Quite possibly the worst service I've experienced in a long time. Waited nearly 2 hours for food, and when the food was eventually brought out, some of the order was messed up and wrong dishes were given. Drinks took a very long time to come out, water was never refilled, and we were barely checked upon. Other tables were served before us even though we'd been there much longer. Food was okay, but wouldn't go back for it. Definitely won't be going back though, and would highly advise you only order takeaway, as wait staff had no idea what was going on. Don't...
