BB Vietnamese Takeaway Fish&Chips — Restaurant in Christchurch

Whoa! An AWESOME surprise with generous servings, amazing flavours and great price. The shop itself isn't anything fancy but it definitely gives you hot, sweaty, family owned Vietnamese vibes.

They were super busy, a good sign, but our Special Bahn mi and noodles came out in about 10 minutes. We got takeaway as there was only one table in the shop (shame no seating outside) and when we got home we were both super pleased with the flavours!

The spring rolls are long and large (😜) - much bigger than what we get in Aus. Then the roll just tasted so good with the softest roll with perfectly crusty exterior.

I loved my BBQ pork noodle dish which also had some spring roll offcuts, generous amounts of meat and quail eggs.

Locals were getting fish n chips but you gotta get into the Viet. dishes otherwise you're missing out!

40 minutes driving trip from Burnside to this hidden gemstone. Wish I knew about this heaven earlier. The most authentic Vietnamese food in Chch I have visited Great taste/seasonings, freshness, no cut corner, wide range of selection(which you don not find in most of similar restaurants/eatery). I took away Banh Mi 12 dollars one. and BBQ pork sausage vercimi.(number 40). Rarely, it was not overseasoned with rare ingredients you do not find out side of Vietnam. Vietnam is my home and a happy workplace and it has been almost 20 years since last visit. I can not describe how thrilled I was to have such an experience-literally 1 minute back to...

I’ve driven past so many times n wondered if this place was good. I got the beef banh mi and I’m so impressed! $11 is such a good price and it’s huge! I asked if I could add chilli and coriander as it wasn’t listed for the beef one and the guy was super friendly and added them for me :) best banh mi I’ve had in chch and I’ve been searching round !!...
